Project Manager Technology (Onsite Houston, TX)

We are seeking a Project Manager for a global high-tech company. In this role, you will lead internal projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. In this role, you will manage corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build, and implement solutions to complex business issues.

This is a 40-hour-per-week, 13 month contract (possible extensions), 5 days on-site, based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal projects to ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build, and implement solutions.
• Apply advanced subject matter expertise to complex business issues, contributing to new ideas and methods.
• Analyze multifaceted problems/projects requiring in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
• Provide direction and guidance to process improvements and establish policies.
• Represent the organization to external customers as a recognized expert.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management or related experience.
• In depth understanding of operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
• Ability to speak with authority across multiple layers of project management methods.
• PMP Certification (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree.
