Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Accounting Specialist to support daily office operations and assist with accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative responsibilities and accounting tasks while working in a flexible, part-time environment.

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

• Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage incoming correspondence.
• Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars.
• Organize and maintain files, records, and office documentation.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
• Order office supplies and assist with general office operations.
• Provide support to leadership and other departments on special projects.

Accounting Duties

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Enter invoices, payments, and financial data into accounting software.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end reporting and accounting projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administrative, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar accounting software preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
