Operational Readiness AnalystJob#: 3054795Job Description:Large Banking Client Operational Readiness Analyst Pay Rage: $50-56/hr - w212-18 months Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ Position SummaryThe areas of focus for the Network Readiness Delivery role includes new network product permit to define, build, and operate. The Delivery Lead is a key stakeholder/voter in Network Product Architecture Review Board (PARB) with accountability for the Operational Readiness of the product prior to deployment. Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables of all new network services. This position will interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers, architecture, product engineering, product management, and business management. At times, they may interface with various levels of senior management. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must. The candidate must be able to work on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations. Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts are important to the success of the individual, the department, and the firm at large.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery of new services and technologies across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverablesEnsure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholdersEnsure deliverables comply with Network & Enterprise StandardsSupport and manage operational readiness activities and product introductions for cross-functional support teams across all Network technologies globallyCollaborate with consulting service vendors, managed service providers and internal partners to develop and transition new product introductions Responsible for efficiency improvements by driving processes, adherence to standards, and continual process reviewManage a large portfolio of strategic and tactical projects with operational accountability for product governance, operational support model development, business case support, risk analysis, technical/architectural assessment, and knowledge managementThe ability to assemble professional documents based on existing templates and ability to provide accurate work descriptions with assumptions, and caveatsPrimary Skill-CyberSecurityRequired QualificationsLeadership & ownership: Self-starter, self-directed and is accountableUnderstands network-based technologies and demonstrates competency in technical terminology the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions and successfully position with customersExperience with release and deployment or operational readiness of network technologies; Including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MAN, Optical Core, Firewall, Proxy/Threat prevention, Load Balancing, DDI, and AAAStrong analytical skillsOrganized and detail orientedAbility to handle complex and ambiguous situations in an independent mannerExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceExperience with Agile framework & SCRUM ceremoniesExcellent client interfacing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of managementCandidate should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours) to successfully interact and communicate on a global levelDesired QualificationsStrong technical acumenAbility to partner with others for the good of the initiativeExperience required in Networking-related disciplines in design, operate and implementation servicesExperience working in an Agile environmentFinancial Services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plusHas participated in design, implementation, or operations of major IT projectsEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
