Bankruptcy Staff Attorney (Creditor's Rights Litigation)
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Bankruptcy Staff Attorney to join its Finance & Bankruptcy practice. This non-partnership-track opportunity is available in Orange County, Century City, Los Angeles, San Diego (Del Mar), San Diego, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley . The firm is seeking an attorney with 6–10+ years of bankruptcy and litigation experience . Full-time, part-time, and primarily remote arrangements are available for California-based candidates.
Responsibilities- Handle complex bankruptcy litigation and creditors' rights matters
- Represent lenders, financial institutions, equity groups, landlords, equipment lessors, and real estate developers
- Manage litigation matters with a high level of independence
- Advise clients on conventional and non-conventional financing disputes
- Collaborate with a nationally recognized Finance & Bankruptcy team
- 6–10+ years of bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation experience
- Experience representing financial institutions and commercial creditors
- Strong litigation, analytical, and case management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- Hourly Rate: $175–$200 per hour , depending on experience
- Full-time or part-time schedule
- Primarily remote work arrangement for California-based attorneys
