Bankruptcy Staff Attorney (Creditor's Rights Litigation)
Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Bankruptcy Staff Attorney to join its Finance & Bankruptcy practice. This non-partnership-track opportunity is available in Orange County, Century City, Los Angeles, San Diego (Del Mar), San Diego, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley . The firm is seeking an attorney with 6–10+ years of bankruptcy and litigation experience . Full-time, part-time, and primarily remote arrangements are available for California-based candidates.
Responsibilities
Handle complex bankruptcy litigation and creditors' rights matters
Represent lenders, financial institutions, equity groups, landlords, equipment lessors, and real estate developers
Manage litigation matters with a high level of independence
Advise clients on conventional and non-conventional financing disputes
Collaborate with a nationally recognized Finance & Bankruptcy team
Qualifications
6–10+ years of bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation experience
Experience representing financial institutions and commercial creditors
Strong litigation, analytical, and case management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Active California Bar membership in good standing
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $175–$200 per hour , depending on experience
Full-time or part-time schedule
Primarily remote work arrangement for California-based attorneys
