HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems
• Utilize gauges, meters, and other testing equipment to identify and resolve system issues
• Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers in a professional manner
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and team members to ensure efficient service delivery
• Use a company-provided iPad for estimates, GPS navigation, invoicing, and payment collection
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, including accurate inventory management
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for heating and cooling systems
• Proficient in the use of gauges and testing equipment
• Possess personal hand tools necessary for HVAC service work
• Professional appearance and excellent customer communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of service calls
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (company assistance provided)
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Compensation

$35.00–$45.00 per hour based on experience and skills.
