What You'll Do:
- Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment for interventional procedures
- Assist physicians with patient setup, prep, and post-procedure cleanup
- Monitor patient vitals and conduct hemodynamic monitoring during procedures
- Transmit and archive digital images using PACS systems
- Ensure radiation safety and minimize staff and patient exposure
- Adhere to quality control standards and perform equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Follow all federal, state, and local radiation and safety regulations
What You Need:
- Required:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist license in Louisiana
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Preferred:
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with PACS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays
