$10.86 to $18.72 per hour. The rate may increase under certain situations.

Job Description

Shift: This is a part-time position with variable daily work hours, year-round. Distinguishing Features of the Class: This position is available in the Recreation Department. This position may require physical work for play and sport events. Therefore, employees in this class must be in good physical condition. Performing repetitive work expected. Duties must be performed efficiently. Examples of Work: Includes but not limited to: working sport events, camp counselors, lead counselors, sport management and working at the Recreation Center. Responsible for personal safety practices. Other related duties not listed, but consistent with, and similar in nature to above examples may be required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme and adverse conditions is a must. Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum detail. Must possess adequate communication skills and deal tactfully with citizens of the public. Acceptable Experience and Training: 18+ Minimum age.
