Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, elucidating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to create high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are reported swiftly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of new developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
