Strategic Field Initiatives Manager

The Strategic Field Initiatives Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide planning, execution, and continuous improvement of major field-facing events and enrollment initiatives that support center operations, family engagement, retention, and revenue goals. This role develops scalable strategies, integrated project plans, and repeatable playbooks for programs such as Back to School, Winter Back to School, Annual Re-Enrollment, Fall Re-Enrollment, Summer Camp, and other high-impact field initiatives. The role partners closely across Operations, Marketing, IT, Education, Finance, HR, and other business functions to align stakeholders, manage risk, simplify execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and optimization for large-scale field events and enrollment-related initiatives across the organization.
• Translate business objectives into integrated project plans, milestones, communication routines, and implementation timelines that support consistent field execution.
• Develop repeatable playbooks, tools, and governance processes that improve scalability, reduce manual effort, and increase consistency across event cycles.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Operations, Marketing, IT, Education, Finance, HR, and other stakeholder groups to ensure clear ownership, timely decisions, and aligned execution.
• Identify operational risks, dependencies, and barriers early; escalate appropriately and recommend practical mitigation plans to protect timelines and outcomes.
• Use performance data, stakeholder feedback, and field insights to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend process improvements for future cycles.
• Prepare updates, recommendations, and executive-ready materials that communicate strategy, progress, risks, results, and key decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, marketing, education, project management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 5–8 years of experience leading complex projects, field events, enrollment campaigns, operational initiatives, or cross-functional programs in a multi-site or field-based organization.
• Experience managing enterprise-level timelines, stakeholder alignment, implementation planning, and post-program performance review.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive results through cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enrollment, retention, seasonal campaigns, or family-facing initiatives in early childhood education, education services, retail, healthcare, hospitality, or another distributed operating environment.
• Experience developing repeatable operating playbooks, program governance routines, or scalable field implementation resources.
• Project management certification or formal training in project management, process improvement, or change management is preferred.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect field execution to enrollment, retention, family experience, and revenue outcomes.

• Ability to analyze program performance, identify trends, and recommend practical improvements.
• Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
• Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Effective communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Proficient time management, organizational skills and ability to meet established deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
• Base salary range: $118-130k.
• This position is eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
