RN - Cath Lab (Per Diem)

Position Summary: Pre-op/post-op RN who provides direct patient care to patients before and after cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures to ensure patients are prepared/educated for procedure. Coordinates care with other disciplines related to patient scheduling, patient care team and staffing. A strong knowledge of cath lab process to recognize/handle emergency situations.

Experience: 1 to 2 years critical care/cath lab experience/knowledge of cath lab procedures required. Cat Lab experience preferred.

Education: Accredited school of nursing graduate required. BSN preferred.

License and Credentials: NJ RN license required.

Required Skills: IV certification, BLS, ACLS, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.


Bi-Weekly Hours: 0

Work Schedule: Per Diem. Minimum requirement- 2 days per month and 1 weekend on call every 6 weeks

The minimum starting rate for this position is $53.00
