Staff Accountant II

As a key accounting partner, the full-time Staff Accountant II, Site Liaison will manage financial reporting and the general ledger close process for a portfolio of approximately nine inpatient rehabilitation facilities, collaborating closely with facility leadership in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary accounting liaison, providing ongoing financial and accounting support to facility leadership Manage the end-to-end general ledger close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and post-close reviews Perform detailed P&L and balance sheet analysis, identifying trends, variances, and resolving discrepancies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for multiple facilities or entities Strong general ledger accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement analysis Experience in healthcare or multi-site accounting preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
