Intake Specialist (LPC or License Eligible)

Houston, Texas Circle Of Hope Services Houston is a client-centered organization that assists children and adults in the community with gaining the necessary skills and resources so they can “be their best self” and “live their best life”. We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with clinical skills to assist in new client intakes. You will work closely with the Intake Team to execute the vision and mission of Houston Circle Of Hope as we strive to become the leading provider agency in Texas. Position: Contracted LPC/LCSW Location: Houston, Texas The LPC/LCSW must have a Master’s Degree from an accredited University, a current license from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselor (in good standing), a minimum of two (2) years of professional in a clinical setting, and worked with crisis situations (adult or children), assessed victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or physical abuse, administered evidence-based treatment, and conducted psychosocial assessments. Responsibilities and Duties Work under the direction of the Lead Clinical Manager to fulfill the Houston Circle Of Hope mission and guides activities to actualize our mission and vision. Responsible for providing therapeutic services to an assigned caseload. Will be compensated per therapeutic session. ($150-$200) All applicants must be licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist. Certification/Skills Experience providing services to vulnerable populations. Ability to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds; be flexible, open-minded, and adaptable to change. Possesses excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians, and Circle Of Hope team colleagues.
