The Marketing and Communications Student Worker supports the varied but specific functions of marketing and communications tailored to or dependent upon the needs of the office and the particular individual student employed for the position. The position reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities Helps plan, record, and edit videos showcasing the student experience. Takes, processes, and edits photos. Assists in social media ideas and posting. Maintains campus bulletin boards and other displays. Assists in setting up special events as needed. Completes miscellaneous special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications A Waubonsee student enrolled in at least one credit. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above. Be in good standing with Student Conduct. Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress. Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Photo/video/social media interest, skills or experience. Keyboarding and Microsoft skills preferred.
