CEO - Behavioral Health (SUD) Personalized Nursing Light House INC, Brighton, Michigan, United States About this position This is a RARE opportunity to lead a long serving Community Resource for Behavioral Health - Personalized Nursing LIGHT House, Inc. (PNLH). We are currently seeking qualified candidates for its retiring CEO. PNLH is a behavioral healthcare provider with more than 35 years of experience serving adults in substance use disorder treatment. Our mission is to be an innovative and effective behavioral healthcare corporation, utilizing the LIGHT Model of care that strives for excellence clinically as well as administratively. Responsibilities Provides visionary leadership to the organization ensuring implementation of the organization’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. Oversees all aspects of operations including, but not limited to, clinical services, administrative functions, finance, human resources, strategy, and quality improvement. Develops and implements strategic plans to enhance each clinic's services, improve patient outcomes, and integrates healthcare within the community. Conduct ongoing feasibility studies in exploration of enhanced or new clinical service considerations. Leads team to recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff members to maintain a competent and motivated workforce. Serves as a liaison between the organization’s leadership team, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. Ensures that all applicable licenses and certifications are current for the staff and facility. Oversee the accreditation process. Evaluates billing, invoicing, and collections to ensure optimum revenue in balance to provision of quality care. Engages with the patient, their family, and the community to advocate for optimal care. Manages financial resources effectively including budgeting, revenue generation, and cost control measures. Build partnerships with external organizations including government agencies, healthcare providers, and other community-based resources. Requirements Education: Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work or a related field required. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a behavioral healthcare in a community health setting. In addition to above stated education requirement. Five years serving as CEO, COO, CAO or other top-level executive position in a health organization preferred. Certification/License: MCBAP certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor preferred, but not required. Complete and pass an adjudicated background check. Must maintain good moral character standing. Will be required to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial analysis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strategic planning and Vision. Proposal writing in response to RFP’s. Systems thinking along with operational management knowledge and skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team toward achieving common goals. Knowledge of Michigan’s PIHP’s and how they operate.
