Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wheeling, IL. you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for keeping things running efficiently, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
