What You Will Do

• Conduct a range of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established guidelines.
• Examine results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with specimen collection as needed and prepare samples for thorough testing.
• Meticulously document all laboratory procedures, guide new staff or trainees, and work to uphold the highest quality standards in the laboratory.
• Maintain a hygienic and secure work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification combined with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification up-to-date throughout your employment.
