Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Mission Hills, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care Magnet-designated facility
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Float between like units within the facility as needed per assignment requirements
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including mandatory holiday coverage commitments

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card (obtained within the last 30 days)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a travel nurse in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with floating between like units in a hospital environment
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care facility
