JOB TITLE:  South-Gulf Regional Manager

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time, Exempt

LOCATION ( Remote ): Employee's Home Office within South-Gulf Region (preferably Greater Houston area).

HOURS & TIME ZON E: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

PAY RANGE: Annualized salary reasonably expected to be $80,000 - $120,000, based on experience, location, and education, plus incentive compensation of commission and bonus (annualized estimate at target up to 24-29%), monthly Auto Allowance (annualized value of $10,200), AAA membership, Life Insurance, Company contribution to health insurance premiums, and Lifestyle Spending Account (annualized value $1,500).

ROLE PURPOSE:

The purpose of the South-Gulf Regional Manager role is to lead, manage, and oversee the sales and market management activities in Stego's South-Gulf Sales Region, in contribution to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Commercial – Central Subdivision, Sales Division, and Company.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :

  • GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
    • Collaborate with the Central Regional Vice President to identify, develop, and implement strategic plans for the achievement of individual and South-Gulf Region (the “Region”) goals and objectives
    • Ensure internal cross-collaboration and utilization of Company resources to achieve shared objectives
  • SOUTH-GULF REGION MANAGEMENT:
    • Manage, lead, and oversee the Region's distribution and contractor relationships, and sales and market management strategies, processes, operations, and overall goal achievement, in furtherance of the Commercial – Central Subdivision, Sales Division, and Company goals and objectives
    • Lead the achievement of the Region's goals and objectives through effective processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and strategy implementation
    • Actively and consistently utilize Stego's CRM, project lead generation system, and other internal resources per Company policy to identify, develop, and maximize demand creation opportunities and customer relationships
    • Ensure data-driven post-analysis of achievements and opportunities for growth using KPIs/BI tools

SALES & MARKET MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITES:

  • DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT:
    • Develop, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with key distribution contacts in the Region, providing technical training and attending distributor events, as necessary, and providing the highest level of customer service
    • Send project leads to relevant distribution contacts as necessary
    • Determine, communicate, manage, and modify, as necessary, distributor product pricing levels, in close collaboration with the South-Central Regional Director
    • Upon identifying projects with potential for Stego's products, communicate with the distribution network to ensure Stego projects are bid appropriately
    • Meet with distributors to promote Stego's products and nurture customer relationships
  • DEMAND CREATION:
    • Contractors – conduct in person and virtual meetings with general and concrete contractors to market and create demand for Stego's products
    • Trade Associations – conduct and attend in person and virtual meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and other trade association events to market and create demand for Stego's products
    • Support specification efforts, in close collaboration with Stego's Specifications Subdivision, by providing customer support and conducting in person and virtual seminars/webinars and meetings with architecture and engineering firms, as needed
  • PROJECT TRACKING & SITE SUPPORT:
    • Identify and track projects with potential for Stego's products
    • Contact general and concrete contractors to provide virtual and on-site customer support and increase product success
    • Conduct virtual and/or in-person project site visits to support product installations, per Company policy and in furtherance of Company goals and objectives

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE & INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT:
    • Provide technical and installation support to customers, as needed
    • Attend regional and national tradeshows and other customer and industry events
    • Actively engage in relevant industry groups
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and others in the industry
  • COMPANY CULTURE & CORE VALUES:
    • Build strong working relationships and collaborate with other Sales Division team members, and all Stego employees
    • Establish the Region as a respected and collaborative Company resource
    • Support and contribute to the culture and atmosphere of the Commercial – Central team, in alignment with Stego's Core Values

YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (required)
  • 4+ years of sales experience (required)
  • Demonstrated track record of meaningfully contributing to profitability and market share growth (required)
  • Construction, manufacturing, design, or technical experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce (strongly preferred)

PHYSICAL REQIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate frequently on a daily basis by phone or video conference
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards and remain in a stationary position to work on a computer for prolonged periods
  • Physical ability to travel to attend customer, team, company and industry meetings and events

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and on location with customers (which may include offices, warehouses/yards, and construction sites)

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Ability to travel to and attend team and Company meetings and events, including nights and overnight stays (approximately 10% of the time).
  • Ability to travel to and attend customer meetings and events, including days, nights, and overnight stays (approximately 30% of the time).
  • Ability to travel to and attend industry meetings, conferences, and events, including days, nights, and overnight stays (approximately 15% of the time).
