Telemetry Nurse Hopewell, VA. This position entails providing specialized nursing care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs within a telemetry unit. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver compassionate and reliable nursing services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts starting on 08/10/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. No minimum years of experience required. Candidate must have a current Virginia nursing license and be able to work night shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac background and experience in step-down/Progressive Care Units (SD/PCU). Familiarity with telemetry equipment and cardiac drips.
• Additional Information: Unit staffing includes one charge nurse, three to four registered nurses (RNs), and one to three patient care technicians (PCTs). Patient ratios are approximately 1:6. The unit performs procedures such as line placements and dialysis. The dress code is all black scrubs or black pants with a red top for RNs. A team player with reliable attendance and accountability is essential. Floating to additional areas may be required. Every other weekend and on-call rotations are part of the schedule.
