Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing medical management and surgical recovery, including procedures such as cholecystectomy and appendectomy
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment to monitor patient status and respond appropriately
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Work independently and collaboratively within a small nursing team, utilizing available floor resources as needed
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clinical excellence and sound clinical judgment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care Medical/Surgical experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Outgoing, confident, and self-directed with strong independent clinical judgment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Combined surgical and medical nursing experience
• Mother/baby experience with NRP certification preferred
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring
