Bankruptcy Attorney - Midsize Law Firm - Houston, TX
Details:
- Practice Area Focus: Chapter 7 & Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, representing a wide variety of stakeholders - secured creditors, unsecured creditors, committees, Chapter 7 trustees, and debtors
- Compensation: rough ballpark range of $175,000 - $250,000 base plus bonuses
- Billable Hours: 1900 annually
- Healthcare, Vision, & Dental covered 100% for employees
- 3-4 weeks PTO (Vacation & Sick) but generally flexible
- Long-Term and Short-Term Disability
- 401k with 5% employer contribution
- Clearly defined Partnership track
- Paid parking
- Support staff and Associates held at a very high regard, not seen as less than

Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience as an Attorney in Chapter 7 & Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Law, representing a wide variety of stakeholders - secured creditors, unsecured creditors, committees, Chapter 7 trustees, and debtors
- Strong academic credentials and job tenure
- Strong background in workouts, restructurings, asset protection strategies, and document review for distressed clients across multiple industries.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
