The Boeing Company's Law and Global Compliance, Corporate Compliance organization, is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Risk Management (CRM) team. CRM's mission is to protect and enable the enterprise by delivering an integrated compliance risk management framework that proactively identifies, prioritizes, manages, and reports on key legal, regulatory and policy risks across the Company. This position can be based in Seattle, WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, Tukwila, WA, Arlington, VA, Berkeley, MO, North Charleston, SC, Mesa, AZ, Seal Beach, CA, Huntington Beach, CA, Long Beach, CA, El Segundo, CA or Plano, TX.
The Senior Compliance Specialist will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate compliance and fraud risks and determine appropriate risk responses for the most significant compliance risks facing the Company. The ideal candidate will have – or be able to quickly build – subject-matter expertise in one or more risk areas, apply data-driven analysis, support preventive action and remediation efforts, including root cause analysis and corrective action plan development, and translate findings into actionable intelligence. This role requires practical, strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication and analytical skills, collaboration, independent judgment, innate curiosity, and the ability to influence others and independently manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with Law & Global Compliance colleagues and business and functional stakeholders to identify, assess, and monitor existing and emerging compliance and fraud risks.
- Apply a risk-based approach to assess likelihood and impact, and help the business prioritize mitigation efforts based on the highest risk issues.
- Conduct root cause analyses to determine underlying drivers of substantiated misconduct, non-compliance, and recurring risk issues.
- Review investigation case details, artifacts, and data to develop clear, actionable insights to inform risk owners and guide mitigation and remediation efforts.
- Translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical operational controls and collaborate on corrective action plans.
- Provide timely guidance and build strong stakeholder relationships to support effective compliance risk management across the organization.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future. The selected candidate will be required to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in compliance risk management, investigations, regulatory affairs, audit, law, or related discipline
- Experience analyzing data, case information, and processes to identify risks, trends, root causes, and inform remediation actions

- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, or other regulated environments, ideally aerospace
- Ability to synthesize complex requirements and data into concise, actionable reporting and recommendations
- Sound independent judgment in ambiguous situations, with the ability to prioritize competing risks and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels without direct authority
