Job Description

This role oversees compliance-focused project and program work streams that support e-commerce requirements delivery and testing. The Project/Program Manager II coordinates all phases of complex initiatives, from planning and execution through reporting, to ensure compliance tools and processes are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete compliance-focused projects and programs that support e-commerce requirements delivery and testing.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Set clear deadlines and milestones, assign responsibilities to team members, and monitor progress against plans.
• Lead and direct the work of others, providing guidance and oversight to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage compliance work streams related to e-commerce, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Prepare clear, concise status reports and updates for upper management and key stakeholders.
• Summarize project and program progress, highlight risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Use a proactive ownership mindset to identify problems early, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Apply a wide degree of creativity and judgment to plan and accomplish project and program goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and compliance stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery.
• Utilize project and test management tools, such as Jira, Smartsheet, and TestRail, to track work, requirements, and testing activities.
• Ensure that compliance tools and related solutions are built and implemented according to defined requirements.
• Report to a manager or head of a unit or department, providing regular updates and escalations as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in project or program management, or in a related field.
• Proven experience managing compliance work streams for e-commerce requirements delivery and testing.
• Strong program and project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities, with demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive ownership mindset, taking initiative and accountability for outcomes.
• Familiarity with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others in a project or program context.
• Bachelor’s degree (required).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated industries is highly preferred due to the compliance focus of the role.
• Background in large technology organizations is beneficial.
• Technical tool experience with Jira, Smartsheet, and TestRail.
• Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Comfort working with a wide degree of creativity and latitude in managing projects and programs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Arlington, VA and supports the development and delivery of compliance tools. The typical work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT. The role involves a mix of independent work and collaborative sharing with team members and stakeholders. You will use modern project and test management tools, such as Jira, Smartsheet, and TestRail, in a professional office environment focused on compliance, e-commerce, and technology-driven solutions.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Arlington,VA.
