Hybrid Wholesaler - Stop Loss Small Market

Responsibilities Target and build relationships with licensed health insurance agents and brokers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to sell Nationwide's small group health insurance products for groups of 2-50 members. Prospect, execute RFPs, and facilitate the full sales cycle. Evaluate agent performance, continually recruit new agents, and provide guidance to develop effective selling strategies. Consult with agents throughout the sales process and offer timely communication on product offerings, network changes, rate changes, and plan designs. Travel within the territory for sales meetings and seminars (approximately 20% of time). Maintain accurate records of sales calls, quotes, and recruited brokers using the internal sales tracking system. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience. 2+ years of sales-related experience (preferred, not required). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization, time‑management, and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines. High degree of initiative, judgment, and self‑motivation. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships across all levels. Willingness to travel and maintain confidentiality of information. Proficiency with computer software relevant to the job. Must obtain a Life and Accident & Health (L/A&H) license in the state of residence and any other state where business is conducted. Benefits Paid training and uncapped earning potential.
