Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and communicate with management, tenants, and/or local responders regarding security-related concerns when needed. Support closing and opening activities, assist with crowd and/or traffic flow during busy periods, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
