Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Refrigeration Department

The Production Supervisor leads the daily operations of assigned manufacturing departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while coaching employees and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

Production Leadership

• Supervise daily production activities.
• Coordinate staffing to meet production requirements.
• Monitor productivity and schedule attainment.

People Leadership

• Coach and develop employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Administer attendance and corrective action per policy.

Quality

• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Lead corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement

• Promote Lean Manufacturing.
• Lead problem-solving activities.
• Recommend operational improvements.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Support equipment troubleshooting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Engineering, Production Control, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and HR.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Commercial refrigeration manufacturing experience.
• ERP experience.
