Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Entry Screening Location: Nashville, TN Pay Rate: $18.71 / Hour Job Schedule : Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”) : You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program : In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting security‑related activities as required. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through proper channels. Support the flow of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries by communicating clearly with site contacts and following location‑specific post orders and security‑related procedures. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
