Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests with strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $18.59 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document relevant activity according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report maintenance concerns or policy violations, and communicate with property personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
