Experienced Precision TIG Welder

Experienced Precision TIG WelderTasks & Duties

• Perform TIG welding on a variety of metals, specifically 18-20 gauge stainless, according to job specifications and quality standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to execute precise welds.

• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with industry and company quality standards.

• Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve welding-related issues.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.

• Document work performed and report any defects or issues encountered during welding tasks.

• Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on theblueprints

Experienced Precision TIG WelderShift Info

• Day Shift and Swing Shift Available

  • 5:00 am to 3:30 pm OR

  • 3:30 pm 2:00 am (with a 10% increase over the day shift)

• Monday - Thursday

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• 2 + years Precision TIG Welder experience

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

• Strong knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and safety procedures.

• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing

• Ability to produce precise and high-quality welds consistently.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• GED / High School Diploma

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US

• Proficient in English

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program a plus

• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plus
