Landscape Crew Leader

LANDSCAPE CREW LEADER Location: Farmington Hills, MI Job Function Serve as the onsite leader for various landscape installation projects. Duties and Responsibilities Managing the crew: Assigning tasks, providing training, and mentoring crew members. Ensuring quality: Overseeing the work to ensure it meets standards and meets customer expectations. Managing resources: Making sure the crew has the tools and materials they need, and keeping track of materials and time. Maintaining the job site: Keeping the job site clean and the equipment trailer organized. Operating equipment: Using standard landscaping construction equipment and operating company trucks/trailers safely. Communicating: Keeping management updated on the project and providing feedback on employee performance. Completing documentation: Complete any necessary documentation. Minimum Qualifications 5 years’ experience in commercial landscape industry. 3 years of professional landscape installation experience. 1-2 years supervisory experience and leadership skills. Have a chauffeur's license or the ability to get one. Optional Qualifications CDL. Industry Certifications. Physical Requirements The ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Must be able to work for uninterrupted extended periods of time. The ability to lift at least 50 lbs., bend, and squat for extended periods.
