Work Location & Eligibility

• 100% Remote (Applicants must reside in Colorado or Oklahoma )
• Role Focus: Answering incoming 988 crisis calls for the state of Colorado.

Schedule & Shift Differential

• Full-Time Commitment: 40 hours/week
• Extra Pay: Competitive shift differential pay available for weekend, evening, and overnight hours!

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet at least ONE of the following combinations of completed education and hands-on behavioral health experience:

• High School Diploma / GED + 4+ years of full-time behavioral health experience
• Associate Degree (in a behavioral health field) + 2+ years of full-time behavioral health experience
• Bachelor's Degree (in a behavioral health field) + 1+ year of full-time behavioral health experience
• Master's Degree (in a behavioral health or substance use field) - Prior behavioral health experience is preferred
• Behavioral health professionals and contact call center experience preferred.

What You'll Do:

As a Crisis Specialist, you'll be the first voice of support for individuals reaching out for help. Your superpowers will include assessment and referral of crisis calls, chats, or texts, ensuring safety, and coordinating care with finesse. You'll work closely with a wonderful team to transform challenges into opportunities for recovery and resilience!

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the Way: Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chats for crisis services with a blend of compassion and expertise. Every interaction you have will be an opportunity to bring hope and positivity.
• Screen & Triage: Use your keen insight to assess and guide crisis interventions, utilizing our risk assessment tool to ensure safety and effective resolutions.
• Empower Through Education: Share valuable mental health education and community resources, helping individuals navigate their path to recovery.
• Team Player: Collaborate in training, meetings, and clinical oversight, enhancing your skills and knowledge while contributing to a supportive environment.
• Document Your Impact: Ensure all interactions are documented accurately in our EHR, maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.
• Innovate & Engage: Stay on top of the latest practices in healthcare, behavioral health, and crisis interventions, sharing your knowledge and engaging with clients meaningfully.

Work From Home Setup:

A hardwired internet connection is required (Wi-Fi is not permitted for crisis call stability). Candidates must connect directly to their router via Ethernet cable (Cat5e or better). Ethernet cables can be provided upon request.

The candidate's applicable education and experience will determine where a candidate falls in the position range.

Pay Range

$22-$25.30 USD

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak. Employees must maintain a stable and secure private home internet with a minimum of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload, and an average jitter less than 20% of latency.

Additionally, in that short timeframe, Solari has grown to expand services to a peer-run Warm Line, Serious Mental Illness (SMI) determinations, mobile team dispatches, crisis transportation services, emergency room-based assessments, Department of Child Safety (DCS) rapid response and crisis stabilization services, telephone follow-up to those who need it, tragedy support lines and other in-kind services to the community.
