Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours; shifts start at 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 32, 36, or 40 hours

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: Range $31.35 $46.59 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Assist with all aspects of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Prepare and set up operating rooms for scheduled cases
• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure efficient, safe surgeries
• Handle cases involving total joint replacements, sports medicine, ENT, GYN, and more
• Maintain sterile environments and assist in instrument management
• Support postoperative procedures and documentation
• Float to SPD or assist in other departments as needed after orientation

What You Need

• Required: Active Kansas RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC); orthopedic surgical experience (Zimmer, Arthrex)
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system; ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment; flexibility to assist with a range of surgical specialties

About the Assignment This opportunity is with a fast-paced, physician-owned hospital, performing approximately 20 surgeries daily. Staff work in a team-oriented environment, supporting both OR and SPD roles as needed. The facility emphasizes efficiency and proficiency across all surgical specialties, with a focus on orthopedic procedures, total joint replacements, and sports medicine.
