The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the relevant jurisdiction in providing quality rehabilitative care to patients. This role involves assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, educating patients, and ensuring safety standards are upheld. Collaboration with healthcare teams is essential to optimize patient outcomes. Excellent communication skills -Spanish speaking preferable -to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients effectively .Deliver evidence -based therapies such as physiotherapy techniques , trigger point therapy , orthopaedic interventions and community -based care strategies .

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of physical therapists
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapies
• Educate patients on therapy routines and safety practices
• Maintain safety compliance during all treatment sessions
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize care

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a physical therapy assistant
• Spanish bilingual highly preferred
