Position Title: Analyst II Position Number: 140-213-5393-XXX Job Code: JC-518187 Job Overview The Analyst II works under the direction of the Chief Support Executive to analyze contract services, request and monitor contracts, and provide contract information to Headquarters Business Services. The role includes preparing complex reports and correspondence, collecting data, tracking information, monitoring tracking systems, and providing recommendations to management. Contract Service Program Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 reduced each full‑time employee’s base salary by 3% and provides 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect recent changes. Term: Limited 12 months; may extend up to 24 months or become permanent. Responsibilities Analyze and improve contract services for institutional programs. Request and negotiate new contracts. Monitor and track existing contracts. Prepare complex reports and correspondence to Headquarters Business Services. Collect data, monitor tracking systems, and recommend improvements to management. Support the overall mission and immediate goals of the institution and perform duties as necessary to enhance service delivery. Minimum Qualifications Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis. One additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C. Successful completion of the Analyst I or Analyst II examination as required for list eligibility. Telework Policy The position is eligible for hybrid telework. The successful candidate must reside in California and may be required to report to the office as needed.
