Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Medical Assistant for a busy outpatient Nephrology clinic. This role combines both administrative and clinical responsibilities, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to front-office and administrative duties and 50% spent supporting patient care activities.
Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers with patient flow and clinical support
• Complete administrative and clerical duties
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Coordinate patient communication and follow-up
• Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and prepared
• Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience obtaining vitals and patient histories
• Strong administrative and customer service skills
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
