About the Role

Position Overview TTH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support our attorneys in the litigation and defense of general liability , transportation, professional malpractice, product liability, insurance coverage, commercial, labor and employment, and related matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work that supports the firm's commitment to service and results.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through trial and resolution
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and subpoenas
• Organize, manage, and maintain case files, discovery materials, and exhibits in both physical and electronic formats
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and attorney preparation
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, court personnel, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel as directed
• Prepare and organize trial exhibits, binders, and materials; assist with trial preparation and support
• Track case deadlines, statutes of limitations, and court filing requirements using case management or calendaring systems
• Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts
• Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and other case documents
• Support attorneys with discovery management, including document review and production
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation defense strongly preferred; experience with insurance defense or general liability matters a plus
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules in relevant state and federal jurisdictions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proficiency with legal research tools, e-filing systems, and case management software
