Position Description Wilo North America is looking for top‑level talent that can step into the role of Product Specialist. This role is designed for an emerging talent that is ready to work cross‑functionally between engineering, sales, marketing, purchasing, and operations. The ideal candidate will possess natural leadership skills, a keen intellect, and a history of driving results. Understanding pumps and a manufacturing environment is a plus. A key success factor is the ability to be an effective team player in a dynamic, fast paced, global work environment. Wilo North America owns the following brands: Weil Pump, Scot Pump, American‑Marsh Pumps and QuantumFlo. Major Responsibilities Work with Wilo SE globally – Germany, France, China, Mexico, India, Middle East & Africa Be able to identify what sales thinks they will need before they need it Responsible for driving product development process/projects within market segment Build up expertise within market segment Improve product margins working with sales, operations, and supply Systematically analyze a market and be able to identify new applications or products Drive product growth meetings General Duties Coordinate with sales, engineering, customer service, technical support, manufacturing, shipping, accounting, legal, and purchasing any new products and changes to existing products to assure timely delivery and target profitability. Incorporate sales forecast, market penetration, budget estimates, strategy, advertising, research and promotional efforts required to meet current and projected market objectives and profits. Work with operations and purchasing to ensure needed product supply based on demand projections. Specify changes in product demand so production and inventory levels can be adjusted accordingly. Develop a personal expertise on products and channels including a complete intelligence file on competitors’ products, pricing, market share, performance claims, field activity, customer service channels of market distribution and end‑user preferences. Become familiar with product materials, manufacturing, packaging, and promotions. Implement product life‑cycle activities 15% – 30% travel Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering/Manufacturing Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to communicate with people from wide variety of backgrounds and personalities and bring them together to work toward common goal Experience in marketing and managing products in the Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, Fire and / or Specialty Markets The company is an equal opportunity employer, drug‑free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
