Compensation and work arrangement

Expected base salary range: approximately 120,000 to 140,000 USD, depending on location and experience

Hybrid work model with three onsite days per week in Dallas or New Jersey preferred

Remote within the US may be considered for highly qualified candidates willing to travel for onboarding and key on-site sessions

Position summary

They are looking for a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to lead Agile adoption within a supply chain technology team that is early in its Agile journey. This person will be responsible for standing up core Scrum practices, coaching both the team and leadership, and driving continuous improvement in how work is planned and delivered. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Scrum Master skills with the mindset and experience of an Agile coach who can influence culture and process across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Serve as Scrum Master for one or more technology teams supporting supply chain initiatives

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Establish and refine Agile frameworks for the team, including backlog structure, sprint cadence, and continuous improvement practices

Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure clear prioritization, value-driven delivery, and alignment with business outcomes

Coach engineers, Product Owners, and leaders on Agile roles, behaviors, and best practices

Identify and remove impediments to delivery, escalating when necessary while maintaining strong relationships

Define and track key delivery metrics to measure team performance and drive improvements

Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within and across teams

Help leadership understand and adopt Agile ways of working, including realistic planning and stakeholder engagement

Contribute to the broader Agile transformation by sharing practices, facilitating workshops, and mentoring other leaders as needed

Required experience and skills

8+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles, including significant time as a Scrum Master

Proven experience leading Agile adoption or transformation for teams that were not previously Agile

Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and core Agile principles, with the ability to apply pragmatically in an enterprise environment

Demonstrated success coaching both teams and leadership on Agile ways of working

Excellent facilitation skills for ceremonies, workshops, and cross-functional meetings

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels

Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) to manage backlogs, sprints, and documentation

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

US Citizen or Green Card holder

Willingness to work 3 days per week onsite in Dallas or New Jersey (for non-local candidates, remote may be possible with periodic travel)

Ability to travel to the Dallas area for an initial two-week onsite onboarding period

Preferred qualifications

Experience in supply chain, logistics, or retail technology environments

Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (such as SAFe)

Additional Agile coaching certifications (ICP-Client, SAFe SPC, or similar)

Experience working across multiple teams or programs in a complex enterprise environment
