Job Summary This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. Performs imaging procedures of the abdominal and pelvic cavity, thyroid area, musculature, and soft tissues with the use of ultrasound apparatus and obstetrics. Qualifications Minimum Education: Completed certification from Ultrasound School or Radiology Technology School Minimum Experience: 2 years Required Certification: BLS Required Licensure: ARDMS, RVT or ARRT, VS (Vascular sonographer) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), RVS, or RCVT (registered vascular specialist) Skills: Computer experience preferred; typing and medical terminology Note: Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment. Organization Description Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines at the hospital include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery.
