Work Environment

The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving overall mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, providing hands-on support and ensuring safety across all rehabilitation modalities.
• Educate patients about body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and create home exercise programs to support their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Administer advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy under your expert supervision to enhance recovery and pain mitigation.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, noting improvements in range of motion, strength, and functionality to tailor ongoing treatment effectively.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain organized equipment to ensure an efficient workflow during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a motivating environment and ensuring they feel valued throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate respect for patient rights at all times.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients rebuilding their strength following surgeries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting focused on rehabilitation care.
