Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5000 square feet, featuring advanced sports medicine equipment and comprehensive therapeutic spaces designed for optimal patient care. Work Environment

This onsite position allows you to work closely with a small, dedicated team comprised of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Operating within the home care context, you will deliver personalized therapy in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and clinical excellence. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual therapy goals and needs, ensuring a tailored approach to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Manage and evaluate a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing focused therapies that align with best practice standards.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to design and implement effective treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to facilitate functional movement and recovery in patients.
• Advocate for and educate patients on alternatives to medication and surgery, promoting proactive, non-invasive recovery solutions.
• Create comprehensive care plans that include varied treatment methodologies, from therapeutic exercises to wellness programming.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring clarity in communication and continuity of care.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment, employing positive reinforcement to foster adherence to the rehabilitation program.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop multidisciplinary care strategies that address the holistic needs of each patient.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting plans based on progress and feedback to ensure optimal effectiveness.

Our practice primarily serves individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Each patient is treated as a unique case, with individualized programs designed to suit their specific needs, goals, and circumstances, thereby fostering a patient-centric healing environment.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is necessary; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Applicants must possess a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential, along with a proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating a solid depth of knowledge in rehabilitation techniques.
• Familiarity with developing fitness and wellness programs that support recovery and encourage healthy lifestyles.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
