Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Shelby, NC
Pay: $17-$18
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 2/2/3 Rotating Schedule

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates who have proven forklift experience and are looking for a stable schedule with every other weekend off. The successful candidate will safely transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Load and unload trailers efficiently while maintaining product integrity
• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products for shipping
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate movement of inventory while following warehouse procedures
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
• Ability to work a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, including every other weekend
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems is a plus
