• Assist with the collection of samples and prepare those specimens for analysis when necessary.
• Document each procedure carefully, orient new staff or trainees, and contribute to maintaining lab accreditation standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while adhering to health regulations.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health discipline alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Necessities

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be completed within the first year of employment.
• Retain current certification for the duration of employment.
