CORE is willing to train on the Medical Technician duties.Position Responsibilities:Ability to safely operate a Class B CDL Mobile Clinic Box TruckAbility to work independentlyAbility to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detailAbility to read, write, and comprehend medical information.Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone.Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results.Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance.Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC.Duties:Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures.Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.Performs temperature checksPerforms COVID nasal swab testsProcess CDC questionnairesObtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signsAdministers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols.Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing.Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements.Performs safe venipuncturePerforms urine dipstick testing.Performs 12 lead EKGs.Performs audiometric screening,Performs other duties as requiredPosition Qualifications:Current National Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)Pass DISA Background CheckPass DISA Drug and Alcohol ScreeningTWIC Card (preferred)Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)CDL Class B or Better (required)Must have available transportation with up to date insurance coverageStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employeesCORE, CHN, and our subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
