About the Role:

Wee Learn Day School in Caddo Mills, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director to help lead our childcare program. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and families in our community. Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in overseeing daily childcare center operations and staff management

Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of childcare staff and teachers

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards

Serve as acting Director in the absence of the Director

Build and maintain positive relationships with families, addressing concerns and communicating program updates

Monitor and support curriculum implementation and age-appropriate learning activities

Assist with enrollment, scheduling, and administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

Director Certificate in Childcare education (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in early childhood education or childcare center management

Knowledge of Texas childcare licensing requirements and regulations

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for child development

Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced childcare environment
