RN - NICU

Seasonal Contract RN - Level 3-4 NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Weekends: Expected

The Seasonal Contract RN will provide nursing care in a Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients. The facility operates with a patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN and utilizes advanced medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level 3-4 NICU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as per protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care using Electronic Medical Records (CPN, Meditech)
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience is required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory
• BLS certification is required
• Experience in using medical devices such as Medfusion pumps, Alaris, and GE monitors is preferred
