Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: May 26, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, night shift; 4 weekend shifts per schedule; on-call required

Highlights:

• Level 4 NICU with 65 beds serving a high-acuity neonatal population
• 13-week contract assignment with potential for permanent placement opportunities
• Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 based on acuity and patient needs
• State-of-the-art equipment including isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, and IV pumps
• Collaborative team environment with over 200 nursing and clinical support staff
• EMR systems: Meditech and CPN

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level 4 NICU experience strongly preferred
• Navy scrubs required for unit dress code
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable attitude
