Takeout Coordinator / Kitchen Expeditor - JOEY Uptown

Part-time As a Takeout/To Go Coordinator you will play a critical role in bringing an Iconic take-out experience to our guests’ doorsteps. Overview Takeout/To Go Coordinator position with responsibilities focused on quality, accuracy, and customer care in a fast-paced environment. Duties Exude professionalism and genuine warmth and care. Inspect and ensure food quality specifications. Pull products based on takeout orders. Ensure proper product usage and storage. Package and label all items, ensuring all necessary components are included in each order. Communicate with delivery support if needed. Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation and safety of the work area. Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success. Stock, clean, and organize service stations and sections. Resolve issues with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgement. It’s Your Business. Assist and perform other duties as assigned. Follow all safe food handling procedures in accordance with state law. What is The Kitchen Expeditor? The Kitchen Expeditor is the food expert in our building and acts as a resource for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) partners regarding dish ingredients, allergies, and special requests. As the final check for quality control, the Expo is responsible for ensuring consistent, quality, and to-spec food is delivered to the guest every time. Duties Communicate with the team to deliver perfect food coordination. Work as a team with Chef/Sous Chef team, quality checking all food before it leaves the kitchen. Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately. Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures. Basic Qualifications No experience necessary. Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits. Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences. Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
