Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable, patient Math Assistant with strong high school math skills who enjoys helping students become confident, independent learners.
Responsibilities- Grade math worksheets accurately and record student progress.
- Support students with math, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus.
- Provide brief guidance using worksheet examples and Kumon’s methods.
- Encourage students to work independently and correct their mistakes.
- Monitor accuracy, pace, and focus, and share concerns with the Instructor.
- Help keep the classroom organized.
- Strong proficiency in high school math, including Algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus.
- Calculus knowledge is a plus.
- Patience and a positive approach when working with children.
- Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Comfortable using iPads and learning digital tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Kumon’s approach.
