We are seeking an attorney with 3–7 years of experience who wants to build a long-term practice handling sophisticated matters while working directly with clients and partners from the outset. What You'll Do Represent developers, property owners, municipalities, and businesses in zoning, subdivision, and permitting matters under G.L. c. 40A, c. 40B, and related statutes. Handle real estate, land use, environmental, and eminent domain litigation in the Land Court, Superior Court, and appellate courts. Participate in administrative proceedings before MassDEP, MEPA, Chapter 91, OADR, and local permitting authorities. Draft dispositive motions, appellate briefs, complex legal memoranda, and strategic correspondence. Work directly with clients, expert consultants, engineers, planners, municipal officials, and project teams on sophisticated development and infrastructure matters. Assist in developing litigation strategy while managing your own matters with increasing independence. Qualifications Admission to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing. Three to seven years of experience in litigation, land use, environmental, municipal, or real estate law. Excellent legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and communication skills. Strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with experienced attorneys. Experience before municipal boards, administrative agencies, or state permitting authorities is highly desirable.
